QUALIFIER FAQ

How does the Qualifier work for Individuals and Teams?

The Individual Qualifier has multiple divisions, to offer the most inclusive competition possible! If this is your first time competing and you are just looking to have fun, there is definitely a division for you. If you are a seasoned athlete, you have come to the right place!

Elite/RX Division: This division qualifies athletes for the Elite and the RX division only. At the conclusion of the qualifier, when videos have been reviewed and accepted, invites will go out to athletes who have qualifier for the Elite and RX divisions based on their placement on the leaderboard.

Intermediate/Scaled Division: This division qualifies athletes for the Intermediate and Scaled division only. At the conclusion of the qualifier, when videos have been reviewed and accepted, invites will go out to athletes who have qualifier for the Intermediate and Scaled divisions based on their placement on the leaderboard.

At the Main Event, Elite and RX  as well as Intermediate/Scaled are separate divisions.

Athletes competing in RX will ONLY have the opportunity to go into the Intermediate Division if there are spots left at the conclusion on registration for the Main Event.

What is the Age cut off for Age Groups?

You must complete the qualifier in the Age Group division that you will be as of the Main Event.

Cost to Compete

The Individual Qualifier cost is $25. The Team Qualifier cost is $25 per person.

There is an additional cost to compete at the main event if you qualify.

Can I sign up as an Individual and a Team?

Yes you can. But if you are advancing to the Main event, you will have to decide if you would like to compete either on a team or as an individual.
Important note: If you advance within your Team and not as an Individual, we do not offer refunds for the Individual, and vice versa.

For the Team Qualifier, will teams have to complete the events together?

No, but the scores must be submitted by the team captain.

I am competing on a Team. How do we submit our scores?

First of all, only the team captain can submit the score for the team. The team captain should also submit the video links for each team member. You may have to add the scores together or submit them separately.

If it is a time based event, and you did not finish within the time cap, you score is CAP+INCOMPLETE reps. 1 reps = 1 second.
EX: 18 minute time cap, the athlete has 4 reps left, but the time cap passed before the athlete could complete them. The athletes score will be 18:04.

Who needs to submit a video?

Everyone. Emails requests for videos will be sent during the qualifier. All athletes must respond to this request for a video. To save everyone time, just upload your videos with your scores.

**If you do not submit a video you will receive a score of 0 on that workout.**
